Knives are the first edged weapons and have existed for over a million years. Like pre-modern humans, millions of people carry a knife as a utility tool and for defensive purposes. However, practical training methods for their deployment and application are scarce.
The “Knife Combatives Course” gives students a core concepts view of self-defense using a knife. Students will learn a working knowledge of knife application techniques supported by functional close-range control techniques using grappling and pugilist training methods.
