DESCRIPTION:In this 1 day class you will learn how to safely and correction negotiate the common environments that an individual might have to defend.\n\n\n\nShooting well is important but it is only part of the equation. In this 1 day class\, you will learn how to safely and correctly negotiate the most common environments including streets\, buildings\, and vehicles. Individual tactics are the cornerstone of the concealed carrier\, police officer\, detective\, investigator and even SWAT operator\, but most academies and schools focus only on team tactics these days. Topics covered in this course include proper use of cover\, one person clearing techniques\, as well as interior and exterior vehicle tactics. Much of the class will be live fire but where it makes more sense\, we will use inert guns. Video coaching to accelerate learning may be used as well. Whether you are protecting your home or working singleton operations\, this is the course for people who realize that winning is what matters\, not just surviving. \nRequirements: \n• Mentally and physically sound \n• Modern eye and ear protection. ANSI Z87.1 rated. Plugs alone are not ideal and electronic ears are highly recommended. \n• Hat with a brim \n• 500 rounds \n• Concealed pistol/holster (duty grade 9mm or larger recommended unless discussed in advance) \n• 4 magazines and 1 magazine pouch (minimum) \n• Ability to draw and re-holster safely as well as hit a 3×5 card slow fire at 5 yards on demand \n• Weather-appropriate clothing and comfort/sustainment items \n• Any tools or batteries needed to service your pistol/optic/holster \n• Inert training gun copy of your carry gun. Some will be available to borrow but may not be the same as yours. \n• Completed waiver
