DESCRIPTION:ll \nJoin us for this break through course taught by three active members of the shotgun community\, and best friends\, joining forces to deliver a content rich shotgun training experience for everyone! Zach Cox of Train With Zach\, Adam Roth the creative visionary and founder of Aridus Industries\, and Jonathan Willis of Gunset Training Group and Tactical Defense Institute\, have combined their teaching styles and individual specialties to create this one of a kind\, two day training experience. \nABOUT THE COURSE \nThis two day course will “push and pull” you on your journey with shotguns. We will be working on the ins and outs of the shotgun to better prepare participants for any application\, but most specifically\, the home defense context. You will leave better prepared to protect your loved ones and yourself\, whatever your world of work might be. \nTopics Covered: \nShotgun Control\nManipulations (loading\, feeding\, emergency reloads\, etc)\nShotgun “Applications” (Situational specific shooting techniques)\nShotgun Metrics\nUnconventional Shooting Positions\nTime Skills Events\n90 minute Stop The Bleed certification \n\nWHAT TO BRING: \n12 or 20 pump or semi-automatic shotgun w/ side saddle shell carrier (completely unloaded)\n350 Rounds of 2 3/4 birdshot. (NO STEEL SHOT)\nEye and ear protection\nAppropriate clothing for the weather and closed toed shoes.\nPen and paper for note taking\nHydration\, snacks\, lunches should be packed for both days to be eaten on site\, any item of convenience while on range.\nKnee pads (May be helpful during a short block of instruction)\nFolding Chair \nPREREQUISITES:\nGood Attitude and Open Mind\nStudents Must Have a Solid Understanding of Safe Gun Handling and Proper Range Etiquette\nALL students must have a solid understanding of the basic operation of their chosen firearm for this course. \nPLEASE CONTACT ANY OF THE INSTRUCTORS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE GEAR OR A GUN.
