DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS WILL THOROUGHLY COVER \nSafety Plan\nMedical Brief\nEffective shooting positions / ready positions\nImportance of Grip\nRecoil control\nOne handed shooting\nDistance shooting\nMovement Drills\nPositional shooting\nMultiple target drills\n(Irons & RDS) use\nReloads\nMalfunctions\nTimed graded drills\nand more… \nREQUIRED EQUIPMENT \nA functional firearm chambered in any centerfire caliber based on the course you have selected carbine or pistol\nAmmunition: 400 rounds minimum for 1 day courses. 800 rounds minimum for 2 day courses. (extra is always a good thing)\nQuality holster and belt for handgun courses\nMagazine pouch and or pockets are suitable\n6 magazines minimum for handgun courses (students with single stack pistols should have twice that)\nElectronic hearing protection is preferred\nKnee pads\nSpare batteries for lights\, lasers\, optics\, and ear pro\nFood and water/energy drinks for the day plan on staying at the range to eat we do not take hour lunch breaks 30 min max given some locations do not have food close by\nPLEASE ARRIVE TO CLASS WITH MAGAZINES ALREADY LOADED.\nIFAK and/or tourniquet is REQUIRED\nBlack sharpie marker\nNice to have list: Chair\, sunshade canopy\, table\, bug spray\, sun block \nREGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS\nSTRICT NO VIDEO POLICY! DESCRIPTION:This course pick up where practical shotgun ended. We will explore the use of slugs and proper zeros of irons and red dots sights\, and extend range use of buckshot. As well as shooting on the move and alternate firing positions and target transitions and shooting on the move. \nTHE CLASS WILL THOROUGHLY COVER  \nSafety brief & medical plan\nUse of barricades\nDifferent optics and accessories\nEffective shooting stance\nRecoil control\nSight picture using magnified and or electronic optics\nProper zero and confirmation of them. (Range dependent on distance)\nUse of the sling for supported shooting\nUse of body supported shooting positions\nTrigger control\nDifferent shooting moment drills \nREQUIRED EQUIPMENT \nA functional and practical shotgun chambered in 12 or 20 gauge\nHearing protection\, electronic is preferred\nWrap around style eye protection\nIFAK and/or tourniquet\nIf available\, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea\nA sling (optional)\nProperly fitted shooting gloves\nA minimum of 150 rounds of birdshot (no steel shot)\, 50 rounds of buckshot\, and 35 slugs\nA cleaning kit and tools that are compatible with the weapon system(s)\nHandheld flashlight and or weapons mounted light\nA black sharpie marker\nIndividual first aid kit and tourniquet \nREGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS\nSTRICT NO VIDEO POLICY!
