John Hearne brings the unique perspective of someone who has been a sworn peace officer since 1992, a successful competitive shooter, and a firearms/tactics instructor since 2001.  He has an academic background having earned a Maters Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Research Methods and is a published author in peer-reviewed journals and popular books. His background helps him translate the current research into clear, easily understood material with practical ways to implement it and improve performance.
